Q: Can you describe your ethos when it comes to skincare?
A: Effective, thoughtful and pleasurable.

Q: What initially compelled you to work in the skincare world? How has that changed since you’ve started?
A: I suffered from acne, rosacea and just not great skin my whole life. But when I was diagnosed with Celiac disease, I began to see the influence that diet had on how my skin felt and looked. Which led me to start looking at, and trying, products that historically I would have not considered as I didn’t think they would work. But I was wrong, they really worked when coupled with my lifestyle changes.

Q: What drew you to Monastery?
A: Athena, the ingredients, the packaging, the products. I found, and find, the world of Monastery intoxicating.

Q: What are your favorite Monastery products to use?
A: I really love all of them, but if I had to choose it would be Attar and Gold. Oh, Rose too.
